Review by Gerard Sukhram

John Wilson's album Visits The British Columbia Pipers Association is a delightful and engaging collection of traditional bagpipe music. The album features Wilson's impressive skills on the bagpipes, as well as his ability to blend seamlessly with the other musicians of the British Columbia Pipers Association.

The album opens with the stirring "Green Hills of Tyrol," a classic bagpipe tune that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Wilson's rendition is powerful and emotive, with each note ringing out clear and true. Throughout the album, Wilson's playing is complemented by the other members of the British Columbia Pipers Association, who provide a rich and textured accompaniment.

One standout track is "The Skye Boat Song," a hauntingly beautiful piece that showcases Wilson's ability to convey a range of emotions through his playing. The track builds to a crescendo, with Wilson's bagpipes soaring above the other instruments.
